It all started in my early teens.  My dad was not a fan of the boy I liked, in fairness any boy at all when it came to me.  Don't get me wrong my dad loved me so very much but no boy was good enough for me by his standards.  As most teenagers will do though I found a way around his rules, we simply snuck our meetings.  We both lived in the same apartment building so it was relatively easy, especially with the fire escape right outside my window.  Almost every night the weather allowed I would climb...

The photo above was in our early days of marriage but far enough in we had truly learned to love each other.  That learning never ends even to this very day.  We got married because our hormones lead to us having our first child.  And looking back we both without hesitation will say we didn't love each other when we got married.  The cool part of the story is we fell in love living together and raising our first child.  By the time this picture was taken we were very much in love but shall we say inexperienced in love....

So my spouse and I have always loved the beach.  We both grew up going to the beach in our area and that appreciation continued into adulthood.  We would often spend our evenings after work taking a quick drive and strolling along the beach.  Something about the salt water, the waves, the sand between your toes that just oozes peace.  Our beach visits varied from walking on the sandbars, sitting on the sand, maybe the occasional swim, exploring sea life, searching for sea glass and sometimes unexpected adventures.  Such as the time we went on an adventure that I never...

We have be on many adventures together my soulmate and I but our trip to the Canadian Rockies will last longer than most.  Why you ask?  Because we could have easily died but instead it was beautiful.  We were having an incredible week seeing glaciers and going up in gondolas to view the mountain tops with mind blowing 365 degree views.  But our week took an unexpected turn when we were driving towards Jasper and something happened nobody expects but yet it obviously happens.  The roads in British Columbia and parts of Alberta are littered with beware rocks and avalanche...
